The rear Hoodaille shocks on my town sedan are leaking from the needle valve. The string packing is not much help. Some Fordbarn threads suggested using Teflon for packing the valve but the only Teflon packing I can find is 3/32 dia., and much too thick. Any suggestions to make the Teflon work ? I thought of using thin radio solder to make a lead packing, but haven't tried that yet.
