Just got my 26 coupe the motor is bad shape,Going to rebuild it just order the stroker-crank from scat, with 280 cam, 7 1\2 degree wheel, hp head, and got a vintage intake system zenith intake, going to run Model A rods and Pistons Made for the stroker crank, not sure why you cant run Model A pistons guess the pin height is different,
Any way my question is I'm i missing anything ****** Wise motor wise . Kevlar bands are going to be install also

Are you going to use the Model A size mains? The T 1.25 mains could be kinda small for all that extra torque. Are you going to install larger intake valves? You should look at the bushings in the transmissions and have all the reciprocating mass balanced. Make sure the pan is straight. The babbett 4th main from what I have read is still your best bet. Are you going to run coils or distributor, if coils, then recharging the magnets and maybe a new coil ring will be in order. What kind of extra oiling to the front will you use?
