Model T Racer first drive......July 4th

My friend Don Basala has been slaving over this handbuilt Model T Speedster and decided the 4th would be a good time to take its first drive around the block. Keep in mind that Donnie had never driven a T before and took some coaching from friends before the start up. The car had ran on jack stands a coupl;e times. Shes a beauty , hand made header and intake. Frt drive distributor , aluminum rear axle tubes hand made etc car is first class all the way.
He had just a moment finding where neutral was but when he found it off he went. Low to high and away he went.....

Sweet! That's a great looking speedster!

Glad you guys had good weather cause it's been raining cats and dogs here today. Something like 3.5" so far... :(

what kind of 8-port head is that?

Aluminum "Z" head .
The T engine ports are in the engine block. In this case the intake ports are squared up and machined into a large square port. Donnie made the intake and exhaust from scratch.
Pretty cool work for sure, and sounds great...
