Hello, Does anyone have information on English built model T?
I have found a front axle with wish bone and wheels.
The wish bone is about the same weight as model T. It has cast brake drums and front mechanical brakes.
It looks different than anything I have ever seen.
It has 16" whire wheels with Ford hubcaps near the same size as 1930 model A caps.
It has a five lug pattern, but wheels are not model A pattern and hubs are different than any model T.
My clue was the tires were made in England.
Would anyone have interest in such an outfit?

Not handy to take picture of.
This is rare duck for sure! Don't think is was made in USA! First one I have ever seen! I did find an article that mentioned only 330,000 model T's were built in England. That was from start to finish. I'm guessing its a 27 model T front axle from England with 16" wire wheels. They look alot like model A 19" but are 16". Small pattern like model T, but hub area is made larger for brake hub. The cap is just a tad bigger than a 30 hub cap and looks a little different. It does not have large hole like v8 wheels for hub cap.

Sounds like early Studebaker wire wheels... ws

There were also 16" wheels made around war time that had the standard model A hub and cap but a later 16" outer rim. The car sounds kinda like its pieced together.

No don't think so. Its 60 miles away or I would take pictures. All there is a complete front axle and an extra wheel. making a total of three wheels. Unit has spring and wish bone. The hubcaps have Ford script but have a design around them not an oval.

Like my compatriot said, probably a ''Baby Ford'' [English Ford 8 or 10 ].
Google ''English Ford'' to compare what you have seen?
