Hi
Is there a list of the "must have" model t books, etc. I have the "Service" book by Ford. I might a's well read about them until someday I can get a car.
That's why I am looking for a engine/trans to restore - just to do something.
Thx
Roger
The offered engine and trans rebuild manuals are a good start if that's the way you're going. Floyd Clymers "Henry's Wonderful Model T" is a good starter book with alot of information. Covers all years and can be gotten at a reasonable price.
Model T Ford Club of America reprinted publ;ications. Excellent manuals that cover every major component of the T. Also, "Model T Ford - The car that changed the world" by Bruce Mc Calley. This is an excellent pictoral history of all model T's and detailed information concerning all years of production. A must have book.
Good luck.
The MTFCA books are a great resource along with Bruce's book, but Bruce's book is out of print and can get spendy, but he sells a cd for $50 which has more info than the book. I sell new parts and stock the MTFCA books for $11 a copy.
No, I don't its on the burner or the pile of projects on the burner, I hope to do it soon. The only problem is my computer doesn't have a hand crank and four coils to make it go. I wish I was more computer literate when it comes to websites, my 1 year old probably knows more. Feel free to call or email me at aloso@q.com
