I have a Model B oil supply tube which is larger than the standard Model A tube...I can not find a source for a B cap ...Anybody know of where I might find one?

Bob Drake (www.bobdrake,com) has reproductions part # 18-6766 for 1932-1934 for $6.00. I have never bought anything from them, so I don't know about the quality. I also have the Model B oil filler tube on my 31 coupe with Model A engine.

I would be worried about the "18" in the part number. That should mean it fits the V8 and not the 4 cylinder. You might double check the diameter before you order.

The B diameter is roughly 2 inches, A diameter is less

"Supposedly" it helps with splash out, from the Cap Vent holes.

To answer the question, internet, swap meets, this forum where I found my cap. No one makes a cap to fit the orig. 4 cylinder '32 pipe as far as I know. As stated, the pipe portion that fits in the block should be Model A diameter. Before that, I made a temporary from an after market cap and used metal pipe strap with holes to form the friction fit inner sleeve soldered in place.
