Model B Ford fan blade nut to radiator core norm.

New Brassworks original Model B radiator and new waterpump so everything seemed to go smooth and has lined up. Would like to know how close was the fan shaft nut and cotter to an original Model B core? I think I have ended up with about 3/8". The top 32" center hinge is right on the money now no gap front or rear .Thank You.

Do you have a fiber washer between the back of the impeller on the water pump shaft and the recessed cast-in cup inside the cylinder head?
