What are the main requirements for this swap? We need it all!!
Keeping costs reasonable is a requirement, so here are a couple questions.
Should we put an A flywheel that is lightened on it or a B flywheel that is lightened?
Is there an advantage to using the V8 or 8N clutch over the stock Model B style? Can the stock B flywheel still be lightened significantly and use the stock clutch setup? What about the diaphragm clutch I've heard about?
He doesn't have a carb, is it worth spending money on the original type, or is another downdraft 97 or 94 carb a better way?
What is the carb I've read about from a Ford 6 cylinder going on an upside down B manifold and how does it compare?
If you were thinking about a 12 volt conversion, would you wait and install an FS distributor when affordable or buy their electronic conversion?
He didn't get a cylinder head and likes the idea of a high compression style. Everything else on the car is stock, but he would like to drive it 50 mph probably. the Lion head is $500 and others begin around $270. Any thoughts? Leave the stock B on for now or ???
I know it's alot of questions, but we have to decide something for all of these items. Thanks in advance, Fordbarners!! PM me if you'd like. Thanks, Bill
