Brad in Germany,
Thanks for your perspective on this. It seems that there are car lovers and collectors everywhere, from Harrahs in Vegas, to Forney Museum in Denver to the old Towe Model A museum up in Deer Lodge, Montana. Even Jay Leno for heavens sake
While I was sad to see my first model A drive away, i suspect that if the buyer did not appreciate the car, there would be no way that they would foot the bill to containerize and ship 1/2 way around the world, just to mistreat her.
I figure my old A that sat in my garage for so many years, that I had for sale on Mafca, this website and Craigslist with no bites at a very good price, now instead might get to play the role of "Ambassador" in another country and allow others who have never seen one or been near an American classic to perhaps appreciate craftsmanship, ingenuity and style without dredging up who's government hates whos government at this moment in time.
I would expect that car guys are a universal breed, regardless of where borders are drawn.
