Should I tell you how much SNOW we have here, and how far it is BELOW 0? I think its time I packed up and moved....

Great cars, thanks for the pictures. How warm was it?

Roger,

Thanks for posting the pictures, the east coast is buried in snow and the only A's we get to see are the ones online or in our garage,

Maybe he will tell us about this accessory on his A...
that is a spot light off of what I believe might be a model T and I made the bracket and it bolts to the spare tire mount using the the spare tire carriage bolts and lug nuts. Pre appleton spotlight. LOL

I would have loved to attend. But I didn't know when and where the meet was.

This seems to be another one of those well kept secrets that doesn't get much advertising. Lots of very nice cars other than Fords

Yeah, they don't know what winter is out there. Here in the northeast the snow is falling and the wind is howling outside. I guess we wont be driving the A's for a while.

Model-A Man,

I beleive your spotlight is one that was made by the "S.& M. Lamp Co., Los Angeles, Cal." "PAT'D 6-30-14" . These statements are stamped on the knob on the back of the light body? With also maybe a model no. 70? Your's looks a little earlier then mine owing the the style of rim band used to secure the glass lens. My light is NOS and has the same "S.&M. ....',
"PAT'D....." on the knob with "FORD - LITE" instead of "model no. 70".
And the rim retainer uses a style of screw/clamp device more in keeping with lights of the late 20's and newer.

S.& M. used this same basic style of spotlight up until the early 50's from what I have been able to ascertian. Improving the design somewhat through the years with the different lens retainer fasteners and bulb socket/reflector combinations.

Sorry for the long winded history lesson. I just get-off on old style spotlights and such. Your idea on mounting your's is really cool!
