Model AA 4-spd Transmission Value

What would be a fair value for a Model AA four speed in excellent condition that includes the bell housing? There's one on ebay w/o the bell housing and they asking over $1700 for it which seem off the chart.

My neighbor bought one for 40$. I just gave one away last week.

$75 was a good price at the Amherst, NH Flea market. Add another $40 for the bell housing.

I agree, that anytime I see one for sale it's under $100. I wouldn't want one in anything other than an AA. No point is having a super slow speed. Better to invest in an overdrive.

The bell housing by itself will bring $125 as it is used to put the 80's era pickup transmission in. The transmission by itself is only worth about $50 unless it is proven to be crack free and rebuilt. Rod

Don't even have the bell! Must be smoking something and it's not the good stuff.

You can ask for the MOON on Ebay but look into the "Completed Listings" for the REAL World Prices!

Exactly as Fullraceflathead points out, what actually gets sold!
The big $$$ item is from a seller asking for the moon...check out the 28-29 tank clamps for $17...EACH! Lots of items for sale, and have been for a long, long time!
