Fellers, please excuse my ignorance, but what parts were originally wood grained, what today gets wood grained and what was the standard wood grain color for a Model A. For some strange reason I like the look which must be from my thirty years of living and working in the "everything will be painted gray" Navy.
Great! I look forward to your visit! give me a call a day before you come and I will make sure you get the VIP tour of the Honest Charley and Coker facility's.Thanks for this post Felix37. I'm working on a '30 and wasn't yet sure how I was going to tackle the dashboard. I'm in the Atlanta area and will most likely pay you a visit in the not too distant future with my dashboard in tow!
Robert, They have not put it on the web site yet. We have just done the video with an e mail address for info. Please give me a call at 870-847-1921 and I can give you a price. I will also send out a sample of the proper grain and base color for your car.I went to Honest Charley's home page to check out the pricing on this service, but couldn't find anything about wood grain service there.
I searched the web page, but no joy.
My 31 has a very home-hacked job. Paint is very thick and all the brush strokes show.
