OK,everybody, I have to ask: Why all the interest in the 21 inchers over the 19 inchers?
To the seller, I need '26-'27 Model T 21 inch wheels. They look like the 21 inch A's but have a smaller diameter hub to fit over the drum. Got any of those?
The main reason is that good 21" rims are harder to find than good 19" rims. Part of it is the rolled over outside lip. Many times these are flattened (I guess by running the rim with a flat tire). Also the spokes are a little longer and are a little more easily bend or broken. The center hub also tends to crack easier where the spokes are welded. 19" rims are more like modern cars and seem to not have as many problems as 21" rims do. BTW, I think I have a 21" T wire spoked rim, but it is not in real good condition.
