Model a Tudor rain gutters

1929 tudor rain gutters
I am trying to install the rain gutters and I am having a tough time. I purchases aluminum ones from macs and got the bend in the gutter but could not get the bend correct to clip the gutter on. I purchased the steel pre bent ones from another supplier and the bend is not correct and will not work. I sent them back and was told all of there steel gutters were bent. So I have to try to work with the aluminum ones again. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to have the tack strip with the exact same bend as the gutter otherwise forget it.
what i did is cut up the tack strip into smaller sections at the bend area instead of using one continuous piece... worked for me

You need to bend both pieces together with waxed paper between them. The paper will allow you to separate them after bending. I built a wood form to bend them on.
