I could not find pictures of Model "A" truck with rear bumpers .
Did Ford ever put rear bumpers or have option to put them on?

Also painted wheels on Cars / trucks did all these colors I see today.
Were these colors available from Ford during those years?

Joe

Trucks didn't come with rear bumpers originally. I'm not sure if it was an option, but I would say not.

In 1928-29 the only wheel color was black. In 30-31 you could get Tacoma Cream, Straw, Orange, Aurora Red, Hessian Blue, Apple Green, and of course black. The wheel color matched the pinstripe color. :)

The wheel color was standard on some models and extra cost on others.

Luke is correct. Trucks did not come with rear bumpers and they were not an option.
To install on mine, I used sedan bumper brackets, and extended them 6" so they actully protected the end of the bed. I also installed a 1X3 steel tube to attach the body stands.
Note that they obscure the license plate and partially block the tail lights, but the ends of the fenders are protected.
email tom.phillips@uhsinc.com if you would like a sketch of the assembly.

I Can only comment on period images. I have seen rear bumpers (fender guards) on Sedan Deliverires, Tudor deliveries, and ONE pickup converted to a wrecker.
