Model A train

Very nice. Henry would have approved.

Is that narrow gauge?

They built some "Jenny" rail cars for use in the CA timber industry. They also used engines to power the little maintenance cars on a lot of railways.

That was modified on Full Custom Garage, by Ian Rochelle , miss watching his shows

I saw that show. It was done at the Trolly Museum in Perris, CA, about 20 miles from my house.

It’s a neat place. Many restored trolleys and steam locomotives. We took our grandchildren there when they had a special program with Thomas The Tank Engine.

Even their trains are LHD!

I did see that a "steering wheel" was included for the "engineer." I'm not sure why unless there is some feature that allows vehicle use "off" of the rails.

Sort of like the railroad of my experience Grafton & Upton Railroad. Which is a short-line connecting the mainline in Shrewsbury, MA to factory in Franklin, MA.

To say it was an "irregular" service was to be generous in descriptive. During my experience a delivery was made "once a week" usually on Thursday.

More frequently we saw the "repair truck" which as I remember it was a late model GMC with accessory "rail wheels" that could be lowered and used on the rails - otherwise it would go on the streets on rubber tires like any truck.

Surprisingly the G&U still exists, is still used, and for a time they had a steam locomotive for sale. Perhaps a "left-over." It was marked "Edaville" but I'm not sure of it's former use or status.
