ALL PARTS SOLD! I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DELETE POST!
I have all the components of a Touring engine MINUS the block!
This engine was originally built by Antique Engine Rebuilders, Skokie, IL.
It had only approximately 8,000 miles and I intended to just freshen it up.
BUT, I found that the block was badly cracked at the front main bearing, so it went to the scrap pile.
The bore was .0040, Crankshaft was measured at .0020 rods & mains
I WILL SELL PARTS INDIVIDUALLY OR ALL LISTED BELOW FOR $2,000!
The engine components are as follows:
Brand new set of .0020 main and rod bearings inserts - $90 (ordered to rebuild engine before cracks were found)
High compression head - ( freshly resurfaced by Dennis Piranio) - $170
Counterweighted, counterbalanced crankshaft (freshly polished, straightened and machined for modern rear seal by Dennis Piranio) - $120
All 8 valves are straight shaft, larger exhaust valves - $50
All valves springs and keepers - $20
Touring grind on cam with steel center fiber timing gear - $70
Set of 8 adjustable lifters - $65
4 chevrolet aluminum pistons with inserted rods - $60
Timing gear front cover - $15
Timing gear side cover - $10
Valve area side cover - $20
Engine Oil Pan - $45
Rebuilt (early) oil pump - $40
Lightened flywheel - drilled for early V-8 clutch - $150
Early V-8 clutch pressure plate - $45
Single crankshaft pulley - $5
