Looks like the The Restorer (2015) article on Death Wobble is a really good reference piece to isolate the problem. Need to do it quick as the Bride refuses to ride in the car as long as it does as she says "an imitation of Elvis the Pelvis dance"! Thanks for the guidance.

The DEATH WOBBLE is GONE!!!! Thanks to a new Randy Gross F100 steering box, new wishbone retainer, wheel balance, front alignment, and general tightening the problem has been solved.

THANKS go to Randy Gross who really makes a superior product. It works as advertised and really does help make the Model A feel like it has modern "power steering".

Sincere thanks goes to Dean who is my auto swami and can fix about anything automotive!!!!

Glad to have it GONE!!!!

I believe every time one of my cars developed a front end shimmy, I found the problem in the front end alignment (toe adj.) or a wheel bearing failed. You have the instruction for checking out the bearings, the layout for aligning the front end, for me, was by trial and error until I got it right. It took me more trials than I care to admit (lol)! It sure feels good to learn how to do something (with FB'ers) help in my case.

I once bought an old Model A that drove quite "GOOD" (smile!).
After greasing things & oil in the steering box, it developed ALL KINDS of DEATH WOBBLES, SHIMMIES, ETC! Chief sed, "I TOLE YOU SO"! Exchanged the WHOLE front end, with another one, & it drove fine again, even with GREASE!
