Model A rear end re-builder in NC

I am looking for someone in or near NC who has experience with rebuilding a Model A banjo rear end.

Have you considered doing it yourself? I did my first one with nothing more than Les Andrews' red book as a guide - and the knowledge that his figures for pinion preload were rubbish. Take the number as pretty right but it should be inch pounds, not foot pounds. That was when I was working for a friend in his workshop. It was a customer's car, who I know through our Model A cub. He still says that the rear end is as good as any he has seen. (bragging!)With the confidence from that one, I have now done several for other customers and my own.
