Model A radiators

Are the truck (large trucks) radiators larger than a "car" radiator? I know the shell is deeper but is the radiator core thicker? I have a car shell with what I think is a truck radiator, the upper shell mounting brackets that stick out to the rear are too long but the filler cap fits the shell.

At a swap meet over the weekend I found a car radiator that fits a car shell correctly and the core measured the same as my truck? radiator. The upper tank is bigger on my truck radiator, if I have a truck unit.

I guess what I'm asking is, are the trucks units larger all over or just the upper tank, does the truck unit have "extra cooling)?

It depends on which AA is being talking about:
1927 through March 1930 AA's used the A chassis radiator and commercial shell. These AA's used the 76-A open or 82-A closed cabs and 85-A panel delivery.

March 1930 through June 1930 AA's used an AA radiator which had a thicker core with oblong tubes, 4 rows, 35 per row, 140 tubes total (+2 dead side tubes supporting the fins). The A chassis commercial shell was used. These AA's used the 76-A open or 82-A closed cabs and 85-A panel delivery.

June 1930 through production end AA's used an AA radiator with
oblong tubes, 4 rows, 34 per row, 136 tubes total. These radiators used an AA shell. The A chassis shell will not fit this radiator due to the location of the filler neck. These AA's used the 76-B open or 82-B closed cabs and 85-B panel delivery plus the 1931 panel delivery type bodies.

The thing is, this radiator is the same thickness core as a car radiator but the upper side mounting brackets were too long to fit the car shell. the filler neck fits the car shell. I have looked at some catalogs and internet sites that sell these radiators and they don't list them as being different. I think Brassworks and Tam's list a AA radiator but don't show demensions.

OK, I found a radiator in a catalog that is listed for a truck and it says it has 4 rows, mine has 3 rows but it is clear it was for a deeper shell.
Just trying to figure out what radiator I have so when I get a new one I won't give up any cooling.

I measured from the front of a 31 AA radiator shell to
the center of the upper mounting hole is 4 3/8"
