Build it out of 'what'? Steel, Wood, --original-looking, flat bed, ....can you give a little more definition on what you are after?

Brookville Roadster already makes an authentic replacement pickup box if that is what you are looking for. They are in the neighborhood of $1600 to $1700, plus shipping costs. They are available at most model A parts supplier, like Bratton's, Snyder's, Mike's A Ford able, etc.

Now if someone would reproduce the Express Bed.

Hi guys, he wants to build rather than buy a steel bed.

That's why he like to get plans.

Phil Dean in Queensland makes a nice one very authentic ,,

The express bed is the 8 foot box used on TTs then changed slightly for AAs.
