Model A News - MARC

Yesterday I received my "Model A News" and as usual very impressed especially the car on the front cover.

After reading about the wows a lot of us seemed to have with the "Restorer" MAFCA I noticed something strange to me. The Restorer is dated November/December 2015. However the Model A News is September/October 2015.

I thought both magazines came the same month. A I behind ?

No you are not behind...Model A News is behind.

About a year ago or a little more, The Resotrer came on odd months and Model A News was coming on even months and that was perty regular.

Then the editor for Model A News had back surgery and that put it behind schedual.

Hopefully MARC (Model A News) will soon get back on track so as those of us who enjoy both clubs and their magizine, we will have one each month again as was before.

We are very lucky to have two clubs and two great magazines, plus Model A Times, for those who cannot get enough.

The pubs are excellent in quality, layout, printing, writing, etc, especially since they are all done by volunteers. If they are a little late, for one reason or another, I don't worry. Other old car clubs should be so lucky.

Then there's the AACA Magazine as well. Not strictly all Model A, but still a good mag.

Model A News is an awesome Magazine and worth the wait. Helen and Ken and other contributors do a great job at it. Photos from the Meet were great!
Be patient...

Rick Nance's Coupe is a true piece of art to highlight the cover in this issue, be sure to read the article of this fantastic magazine..Again Helen and Ken did another outstanding job!!

I thought about commenting about the AACA mag, as it is very high quality, too.

I had an embarrassment of riches last week. I got The Restorer, Antique Automobile and Hemming Classic Car all within two days. Just waiting for Model A News to arrive now.

Agree, the Antique Automobile has come a long way, I would chalk a lot of it up to West Peterson who edits it. I think they do a great job balancing feature cars, with an emphasis on prewar cars but giving other eras space as well. Definately my favorite among the ones we get regularly.

Would like to echo what all have stated. We are very lucky to enjoy magazines like MAFCA, MARC and AACA. The money spent is well worth it. They provide great information and help to keep the hobby interesting.

Should I assume my model a times has been mailed for sept.-oct. and I didn't get it ???

Have they all been mailed ????
