Model A metal kits

Found some of the Model A kits from my mis-spent youth. Not any complete but there are some other parts and pieces that have disappeared over the years. A roadster pickup body, fenders, and frame, interior pieces, etc...

Hey Oldspert,

I wouldn’t say your youth was mis-spent if you bought and kept those Model A kits. I still have a Model A Roadster kit I bought in the late 60’s or early 70’s.

I bought it at one of the early membership stores here in Southern California called Fedco. It’s complete and all metal. I have to assemble and paint it when I get around to it one of these days.

On the other hand, my youth was probably mis-spent too since I haven’t finished it.

I remember assembling several Hubley metal kits when I was a kid. I now have a Model A Station Wagon Hubley that someday I'll assemble and use for races at the Jamborees. Two of the rubber tires are hard, though, so I need to find a couple of soft ones as I'm afraid the hard ones will crack when I try to put them onto the wheels. Anyone out there have a couple of soft Model A Hubley tires they'd be willing to part with, please PM me.

We still have Hubley Races at our Club picnic. It is a lot of fun.
