Expert Model A mechanics seem to be far between and getting scarcer as time goes on. What about starting a Model A Mechanic Register with contact information, rates, location, and miles you are willing to travel? The contact info does not have to have your real name. This could be handled through the PM function.


I'll start. Wilkesboro, North Carolina, $60 per hour, $1 per mile traveled, 80 miles radius with some exceptions.
 
I'd be happy to take part in that too. Car owner pays actual costs for me to get to his house, $60 hour and parts required.
I will now remove my tongue from my cheek!!! Even so, I think this is a good idea.
 
I'm located in northwest Missouri Chillicothe about 90 miles from Kansas city Missouri I'm willing to help somebody With their model A. Price would be negotiable depending on what's needed.
 
Great idea.

A folder should be created, and the names, locations and prices could be included for any member to view.
 
I'd be happy to be included. I'm not the world's bestest mechanic, but I do have a lot of spare Model A parts, new and used. I let people I've run into in the area (Hampton Roads) that I'm always happy to give/lend/sell parts if needed. Definitely handy when it's a Saturday morning and someone thinks they might have a bad x-y-z but want to try a new one out before they place an order on Monday from one of the large dealers and pay for shipping, etc. (and often as not...it turns out _not_ to be that part!) :D

i'd be willing, as i've already helped a couple of people fix up their cars, as well as mine.
however, i am in no means skilled enough to be paid, though the people i helped insisted.
