This is a Walker mechanical jack, 8", the top plate on this jack
needs a little work, easily fixed.
This jack works good going both up and down, however
jacks like this are 90+ years old and recommended to be
used for tool display only. They have springs internally to
operate the latches and you cannot predict when one of those
will fail and the jack might come down on you.
Please do not use these mechanical jacks for your daily drivers.
