Model A ford hand wiper mounting

Anyone have a pic of how their hand wiper is mounted? I have a middle hole with two smaller ones on either side on top of the windsheild frame. I was told that is for the hand operated wiper. Is there a bracket? Can you buy it?

The center hole is for the hand operated wiper to go through, or the shaft for the vacuum wiper. If you use the vacuum wiper then the two smaller holes are for the mounting screws that go through the windshield frame and into the threaded holes in the vacuum wiper.

Hi Kane,
Here is a thread from the AA truck forums that show the bracket and how it was riveted to the windshield frame. You might want to check Berts to see if they have an original but the right person could probably make one, too.

Kane,I was able to get an original wiper and the tube from Bert's. Those guy's are the best. The reproduction hand wiper will not work in the 82-A because the shaft thru the windshield is to short. It is also chrome and the wiper should be painted black.

Thanks for the help guys. The hand wiper re-pop I have does not fit right and I also thought chrome finish was not correct. I think I will get ahold of Bert's as I have heard good things. Thanks Ed. The AA forum was also helpful.........
