Model A expert took "last ride"

Model T is too shy to self-promote, and I've been a total train-wreck since holding his hand as he passed, so I forgot to share this with you also. Sorry for the delay-

I just want to take a moment and THANK you for being a fan of Robert Guimarin. He really, really enjoyed being a "celebrity" and all the attention. He felt NEEDED and useful right up to his last day. I and others in the family believe it added years to his almost 96-year-long life.

His memorial is this Saturday. I am conducting the services.

An emotional moment for sure.
It reminded me of a post here several years ago where a man had used his Model A to bring his wife and new born son home from the hospital. Decades later, he had just used the same car to take the son's ashes to where he had wanted them spread. Non car people don't understand how these old cars become a part of the family.
I'll be thinking of you guys on Sunday (Saturday over there).

My sincere condolences to you and Model-T on your loss. From what I saw in your videos, he was a very quiet but knowledgeable man. Will be thinking of you both on Saturday.
