Thanks for bumping this thread, saves me time to look for it. I plan to properly participate very soon.

I need to find a friend now who lives in a house that has both sides of a toilet...............

Bump.....now before it gets lost again. Finding things when you get old can be daunting especially things that have shrunk from old age. :( I've an old garage just down the street, be back shortly.

I like the garage with gun slits in the roof......to keep the enemy at bay.:D

And that's the first time I've seen a log corn crib, but you'll have to fill in the windows.

Actually Tom, that's the Shaw Homestead and the founder of this village. He was a frontiersman/riverboat captain and also that house was a Mississippi River boat stop.
It's being restored by a friend of mine. A couple of years ago, it couldn't be seen from the road that passes just in front it was that over grown. It has a double chimney.

We have log cabins all over this county and mostly still lived in.

I have come to the conclusion that most people do not drive their A's, or they do not know how to operate the camera on their phones. Maybe both. Either way, this thread is... DEAD.
