Model A Door Interchangability

Hello All,

What is the interchangability of doors on Model A 4-door bodies? Obviously, Murray vs Briggs window details differ, but are all doors interchangable? Also did Ford make some 4-door bodies? Are doors from these bodies interchangable with the other manufactures? If year matters, I am interested in 1930.

Thanks.

I don't think Ford made any 4 door bodies. I don't think the doors are interchangable but not 100% sure. Good question to ask the tech editor of MAFCA or MARC.

Ford did not make any 4 doors. Murray only fits Murray. Briggs only Briggs. 30/early 31 doors are the same. a400 and Victoria doors would not fit a four door either.

So how does that rule of thumb apply to a closed cab pickup? I salvaged a AA out of a farm field and well the cattle use the truck as a rubbing post and caved in the doors.

Mid 30-31 closed cab pickup , AA and tudor use the same doors. Early 30 trucks and pickups used the same cab and doors as the 28-29 pickup and AA trucks.

What about door interchangability between years of the same maker? For example would a 1930 Murray door fit a 1929 Murray body?
