Found this little distributor, its the same size shaft fit as a model A.

Its a Delco -Remy
model 635B

The arm that sticks out that looks like it was used to adjust advance was welded on. Single set of points

Anybody know what it is??

Good possibilty, my dad had modified a '28 chevy overhaed valve train to fit on the model A. It worked pretty well except he kept blowing head gaskets. This could be left over from that effort. I'll contact some of the old chevy guys and see if they recongize it.

Might be a 1928 and older Chevy, which had a 4 cylinder overhead valve engine.
Tom,
As best as I remember, it looks like one on a '26 Chev I drove in High School, except mine had the condensor incorporated inside the funny lookin' coil. Condensor was defunct, put on regular coil & added a condensor to the side distributor, much like this one has. Fun old car, rocker arms oiled by oil soaking a felt pad that laid on the rockers. No side cover! you could watch the lifters & push rods diddling up & down. A friend has a '23 Chev. touring with NO valve cover even, just squirt em' afore' the ICE CREAM run! Bill W.

Yup I did. Got rid of that chevy, body looked nice but was a structural deathtrap. Still had some cool parts to it. Sold that distributor for $100.

I'll bet the Ghost did :D
Carl,
No sign of the ghost for 7 or 8 months. Once I instructed Buster T. that if he came back around, just pretend he's a GIANT white RAT & do the "CLEAN KILL" on him! When I pressure the Dog:cool: for info------he just smiles!:D:D Bill W.

I was able to confirm that in fact it was a 1928 Chevy distributor.

Probably put it on ebay, don't need any chevy parts.

Thanks
