Model A coupe with huge trailer/bunkhouse

Note the rear wheels and tires. As I recall, I believe the rear end may be from an AA with heavier springs. Somewhere on the net there is a technical description of the mods made to the coupe. Someone will post the link........ Gar Williams

I saw the rig in the Miami area a couple years ago at a car show. It was very interesting and well preserved. It would look great in a museum.

so how is it if he is using AA axel hubs and such that he is able to use regular A wheels on that 31 A . not possible .somethings not right here.

I'm not sure the rear axle in the Coupe is from an AA Ford truck... the rear wheels appear to be cast-steel spoke wheels, probably with demountable rims... they are not like any Ford wheel I have seen... they DO resemble the wheels that were on several 1934-'37 International C-35 trucks I once owned.

The axle might indeed be AA Ford, but I don't think the wheels are...

The wheels on the trailer look like they are from a '28 AA.

I wonder if the Coupe has a four-speed from an AA ?

I doubt it will sell for anything even close to 250k, let alone six figures. It was on eBay a couple years ago with a price around $100k or so.

It looks well made but who would design it with that much tongue weight?
He must have used a lot of leaves in that spring , I bet it was a pig to tow!

I don't think it would fetch that much even with the Farmers Daughter !!!
