I like trucks and waiting for it to be delivered in week or so.
But as of today 1-27-11 there is 14" of white stuff here in NJ.

In that era, trucks were strictly work vehicles, unlike the urban cowboy status symbols of today. They didn't have bright work or any luxury amenities. The coupe was more of a vehicle that you could take to church on Sunday in your nice clothes.

Hey Jason! One of my little girls is taking exception to how your description. And I think she might have a point. She certainly was looking pretty today in the snow!

I am 5 10, 160, my long legs get stuck between the door and steering wheel in the PU when I put my foot on the clutch (for sure 30-31 not sure about 29-29). I like the looks of the coupes so that that would be my vote.
On the subject of PU's, does anyone else use the term "cracker box cab" for the 28-29's?

I always wanted a pick-up but at 6'4" I soon found out that I couldn't fit in and comfortably drive one. Actually, I barely fit in my '31 Town Sedan. Anyway, I ended up buying a '50 F-1. Even with the '50 pick-up I had to get one with the shift on the floor. The column shift hit my knee when in third gear.

Here's a picture of both vehicles:

I must be a lot younger than you guys. I have a 29 roadster pickup. I notice the cab is small when I try to get my feet out. I just do not notice the cramped space while driving. The darn thing is just fun to drive. When the dog is laying his head on my lap, then I notice the cab is small. He weighs 215 pounds. When he sits up in the seat his head is at least two feet above the windshield.

Over a coupe, i would pick a P/U any day. I miss the one I had for ten years. It was so versitile. You could do any thing with it, haul cargo, go camping, drive it in the winter time or wash it up and drive it to church on Sunday.
