Model A Combination Tire Tool?

Bill in SoCal

I was on eBay and saw several of the same type of tool listed as a combination tire tool. Some have a number of 934502 or AF 310 in the casting. I have never physically seen this tool, so I do not know how big is. I could not find the auction number, so I borrowed the picture for description purposes. What is it? Bill

your photo is too small to really look at it close
does it have a rubber hammer face?
I used to use a tool SIMILAR to this to remove and install split rings on truck tires in the 50s
but without a scale or close up I don't know

Tom,

It looks like a solid metal head with a socket in line with the hammer, and the small pry bar attached - all one casting.

I borrowed the picture from an eBay listing with no way to expand it or size it.

For removal and replacement of hub caps maybe?

Mike

I think you are right. It looks like a hub cap removal tool. I not sure what the hammer is for - balancing weights

or tap on stuck hub caps (too much damage). It has a lug nut socket (unknown size). It sure looks like a tire tool, and the five current listings say in some form "Model A T Ford Tire Lug Nut Wrench AF310 or 934502."

I have never seen the tool listed with any Model A tools and the numbers AF310 or 934502 don't match any reference I have. I am no expert on tools, but I am interested in learning. This is the best place to learn about Model A Stuff - if it is Model A.
