that's a good link , thanks. but i'm wondering if what i've got is compatible for one of the readily available rebuild kits. I gave it up for my uncles shop to inspect so my reference is vague , the patten number liked me to bessim , a 1924 patten as I recall the research , was this one item offered through sears roebucks built of the standards of a similar carb offered from ford or a complete after market . hearing the simplicity of the device where do the kits differ ? no markings except for the pat#.

Might be a Marvel-Schebler(sp?) I run one and love it not too many parts around except gaskets that I've found.
