The only time I ever saw my grandfather get mad was over an '03 A model. When I was a kid he bought one and we would ride around the neighborhood after dinner. My grandmother thought he was spending too much time playing with it so she sold it. I thought there was going to be a murder in the family. Its still in the area.
Those little cars are really something. My dad had a 1910 two cylinder Buick, and would run it on the one and two cyl. tours. Neat little cars, but 50 miles was a BIG day.
That was a very good deal IMO, it may have been a former Harrah Collection car. Crazy money was spent on the 1915 Ford Circus Cage at $200,000. Did anyone see the 1908 Model T sell? Wonder if that was #220, or a former Harrah car. Fun auction to watch, I'd like to see it first hand some year. Bob
