Model A Amature Radio Operators

It was something I was always interested in but never did.

But what I did do over the past few weeks was get this old '47-'49 Hallicrafters out of storage, cleaned it thoroughly and replaced the electrolytic capacitor and it works!

Had this radio when I was a kid, strung an antenna between the house and barn and listened to all sorts of things...including Wolfman Jack....

First licensed in 1958, KN6CEX, was only on CW. Current license is KE6SN, however have not been on the air for years. Have a few early Hallicrafters 30's, 40's and 50's. Always thought when I get old I would get back on the air.
