Mod Kit For Seniors

As we mature, some things to operate a Model "A" become difficult. For example, reaching the starter button, reaching the brake lever, shifting gears and getting in & out of the Model "A". It would be nice if a dealer put together a senior citizens adapter kit including but not limited to such things as a remote starter accessory, a hand brake lever extension, and automatic transmission conversion kit, a remote carburetor choke + GAV operating kit, a kit to hold the a gasoline filler nozzle so the auto shutoff works without overflowing gasoline & a kit to enable moving the front seat(s) temporarily rearward for ingress & egress. Also, I use the steering wheel as a handle to pull myself into the Model "A", so include the bracket to attach the steering column to the dash rail.:)

You're thinking too much again this morning, Bob. All helpful items but most, if not all, of the items you mentioned are already available, just not in a "kit" form.

I would like to see a handle to help my navigator get in also.

Come on guys, we are missing it ! What Mr. & Mrs. Bidonde need is a chauffeur driven Model A Town Car to arrive at all their 'affairs'.

Here you go Bob. All your wishes met and it won't rust in those NY winters.

Maintaining and building up muscles at an advanced age can be difficult but not impossible. Also balance. What is needed is a good exercise routine and about 100 grams of protein each day. Physical therapy is excellent, especially for balance. Consult an expert in the field for advice on how to exercise and diet. Maintaining your health and physical well being is important if you want to be able to drive your Model A into your 90's and even beyond.

I have a 30 to 45 minute excersise routine I do daily. It been a big help with balance and flexibility. Almost 88.

It seems to me that Henry and Edsel did not anticipate almost 100 years ago that the Model A would be a favorite of aging folks like us and that the cars would even be around 100 years on! And yet, here we are! :D

"That handle looks like it is from a British car."

It can't be from a British car - It isn't leaking oil. :)
M.
Or smoking.......
Lucas the god of darkness - The Brits drink warm beer because they have Lucas refrigerators.
I'm surprised the Zenith works as well as it does. The French aren't noted for quality cars.
Zenith was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1911 as a subsidiary of the French Société du carburateur Zénith.
