Mitchell overdrive

When ever you decide you want it to shift. All you have to do is push in the clutch and push the lever forward and it will be in overdrive. Its probably best not to engage it while sitting still because, when you decide to drive off you will be in overdrive and it will take a lot to get the car rolling rolling. But you can take it in and out of overdrive whenever you feel like it needs to be.

No problem with reverse. There is still a direct and an overdrive in each gear, even reverse. They are a real asset. Split shifts are possible, also. (Shifting both gear boxes at one time, as in direct high to second overdrive while climbing hills etc).

I have about 90K miles on my Mitchell...best money ever spent!! I previously had a borgwarner od for about 18 years and was very happy with it until I drove my friends sedan with a Mitchell NO COMPARISON !!
