Mistery wishbone

Can anybody id this wishbone please. I bought it from a local farm for the 2 x 35 wires on the rear of the cart

Spindles are square, could be 35 if the backing plate holes are 3/8. It looks like the axle ends of the bone have been twisted to horizontal?

Yes, the bone ends have kinda thrown me, i guess all will be revealed when i pick it up next weekend

From the shape of the now horizontal yokes, shape of the ball end, and the length it looks like it was either a '32 or more than likely a '33-34 wishbone.

I agree on the modifications to the wishbone but that front axle and spindle looks like ‘40-‘41 Willys to me.

It’s the shape of the spindle flange and the axle, the upper axle here^ is the ‘40, lower is the earlier ‘33 and up axle. Also, Willys in that era had four lug hubs.

It’s a 32 or a 33-34. IIRC, a 32 is 47” and a 33-34 is 45”. Maybe someone else can confirm.
