Missing tension cables on a 47 Ford convertible

I am putting a new top on a 1947 ford convertible.
The tensioning cables were missing from the start.
Does anyone have info on where those can be bought or do I have to go with a generic set.
Also if anyone has how to info or picks of them installed correctly that would be great!

There is no tension cables on these tops, there is assist springs that hook on the same arm that the cylinders hook to and some were fasten to the floor my 48 were fasten to the wheel well under the tank covers.
