You might do better looking for a phone number. There seems to be many businesses that don't monitor their websites and/or emails on a regular basis. Employee turnover sometimes leaves a void on responding to emails.

MAKES SENSE APPRECIATE ! getting over ruptured bicep surgery so gathering bits together almost as good as fitting them lol

heres mine, it look same as all other y block starters? ben told they do vary

I bought and installed the same mini starter as you have when I was restoring my 55 292 FMX setup. Much easier to bolt up but I didn't like that when it was in situ the only support the starter has is the two ears that bolt it to the bell housing. It is only an aluminium baseplate on the starter. The majority of the baseplate is smaller than the opening in the bell housing.
I changed it back to the original starter and have put the mini back on the shelf. When and if the original fails I may reinstall it. I just didn't trust it to last the distance.

many thanks ive ordered one as mine stuft it somtimes works then not, ive had it out cleaned it but it just shot, yes going from 3 to 2 mountings i agree but its $hit or bust for me, i also ordered new ring gear but trying starter first!

The ring gear may be alright with the mini starter as they work on the front edge of the ring gear unlike the original.
