Metal Roof Insert

I know this is an old thread but nevertheless I too have a 31 steel cab indented firewall with narrow bed..

In the 1940's & '50's, we considered it a major up-grade to have a owner-installed tin roof on our Model A's.

I love to see vintage 'user' Model A's, with characteristics of the 1940's & '50's, like sealed beam headlites, V-8 wheels, trailer hitchers, etc. - AND steel-topped roofs !
