Yesterday i got the chance to meet JM 35 sedan, he went to the V8 nationals in St George Utah. then he made his way out to California, to see Vern Tardell. on his way back he stopped in Santa Rosa to have coffee with me, we had a good time talking about V8 Fords and about some of the other Fordbarn members that he has met. he is a great guy.
i always think that is is nice to put a mane with a face, also a car!
thanks Brendan

Thanks Brendan! I have met some really great folks on this trip and also have seen some great old Ford V8's. All good memory's for sure. When I get back home, I want to post a trip report with all the Ford V8 related pictures that I have taken in the last three weeks. Keep driving that nice '36 PU. That's the real fun of owning these old Fords.

I have never met a Fordbarner I didn't like. Rod

I agree with that Rod, and also I can honestly say I never saw an Early Ford V8 that I did not like and want to own :). There never was a Ford ugly duckling built as far as I'm concerned

Holy cow John, you don't let the grass grow under your 35. I thought I put the miles on, but I think you have me beat. Love to see people drive them and enjoy the times. I'm hoping we can have a get together down in Florida this winter, Vic will pull Thur. Take care, Chuck & Kathie

Hi Chuck, I think I'm trying to makeup for lost time since I was down sick for most of 2008 and some of 2009 and missed out on some great Ford meets and gatherings. 2010 has really been my year for traveling. Hope to see you and Kathie in FL next Feb/Mar if my wife doesn't clip my wings ;).

John has friends in the UK as well, he really gets around! How you doing mate?

Is this Andy from F r o m e? I had to spell that with spaces between letters because this software would not let me spell it correctly. I still need to post pictures of all the cars I sawing the UK.:) John

Hey John - yes it's Andy. Brendan - I have a '36 5W coupe that John took a ride in just a few weeks ago. I also have a part done '36 Roadster, John has pics of both and some of my friends cars as well. Unfortunatley I find building cars easier than posting pictures!

Brendan and Andy, I'll post pictures that I took in England of Andy's cars and also his friends cars when I get back home from my wild western trip here in the USA. Stay tuned:)
