Offering an excellent condition pair of Massachusetts 1964 license plates number M985. The number is "clear" with the RMV for antique vehicle Year of Manufacture registration for a 1964 or a 1965 vehicle.. The plates are excellent in their original paint with only light bolt hole scratches. The letter M prefix indicates the plates were Municipal series and originally they were on a fire department vehicle in my home town. As YOM plates they could be on any 1965 or 1964 vehicle but it would be great to see them on a fire vehicle again. I mention use on a 1965 vehicle as Massachusetts did not issue 1965 plates. instead using 1964 plates for two years, so 1964 plates can be used on 1964 and 1965 antique vehicles. $80 plus postage for the pair.
