Thanks, one of the vendors said a Tillotson rebuild kit would work in a Marvel.
I did not think so.
Glad I did not buy the Tillotson kit.

The two companies were separate divisions of Borg Warner so they both had their own design and manufacturing processes. Marvel Schebler was more geared toward tractor and aircraft carburetors and Tillotson was more toward small engines and older automobile aftermarket replacements.

Having done several rebuilds on both brands of carbs there are some parts that will interchange and some will not. One of the biggest interchange differences is that the GAV's and choke drivers on Zeniths & Tillotsons WILL interchange with each other, but WILL NOT work on Marvels.

The main jet will interchange between the Tillotson and Marvel.
