Very interesting replies! It appears to me that most people have the opinion that MMM doesn't hurt anything, so why not use it. Everything I have read indicates that it is a solvent, not a lubricant. I don't plan to use it in my A or any other internal combustion engine. If I need a solvent, I may try it.

It is a lubricant, it is used to lubricate the beta rods on hartzell props that are fitted to kingair aircraft.
