Marvel Mystery Oil

I use it in my aircraft engines. The 65 hp continental has trouble with carbon deposits on the valves and causing them to stick open, and the Marvel Mystery oil stops this. The 165 hp Franklin engine has dissimular metals with valves and guides. The valves will stick if you leave it set for a long period of time. Marvel Mystery oil in the oil and the fuel stops this and the engines run free. Marv

Well, I probably have 50,000 miles on the engine in my 39. Have never used MMO and haven't experienced any adverse effects.

I am an Aircraft mechanic by trade and it was the only oil additive I would use in an engine for years.
Now with the Oil companeys removing ZDDP from oil mandated by the USA gov. ZDDP must be added to every oil change as well if you have a flat tappet cam.
Comp cam sells bottles of it.

MMO is good stuff It thins your oil without changing the oil's viscosity, Cleans carbon deposits frees sticking lifters frees sticky rings and guides some times as well.
