How hard is it to install a manual choke? Seems fairly simple. I'm overriding the auto choke on the 53 Merc. It's not doing what it's supposed to and actually interfering with the normal operation of the engine. I know there are guys who rebuild them, and I'll eventually get to that, but for now I want to disable it. It's attached to the manifold, not the carb. I don't drive the car in cold weather and prefer a manual choke anyway in and old vehicle. Any specific kits better than others or are they all pretty much the same?
