C Charlie Stephens Well-known member Aug 20, 2017 #2 It is intended to have sheet metal ducting over it to make a hot air heater. I think it was only used on one side so you are set to go. Beware of exhaust fumes with this type of heater, I prefer a hot water heater. Charlie Stephens
