does anyone know the colour code for mandarin orange.the ford code is MO553.thats what ive seen anyway.i need the dupont code.
 
my paint mixer cant get anywhere with these numbers.he phoned dupont and they gave him a number for atlas orange.
 
Dupont, I'm pretty sure, substitutes later colors that are close for older ones. If you could find an old store that still has their mixing formulas from way back, you might be able to get what you want that way. Do you have a sample to show your paint guy?
 
thats what they did and i had to settle for atlas orange in the end.very close.there changing the paint so often now you cant keep up.the old codes dont work anymore. we,ll soon be forced into water paint.
